Tyler is 6 months old today... wow, time flies! It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital. Jeff and I were just saying last night how big he has gotten. He has already gained 11 pounds. We have his 6 month check-up on Monday so we will get the official weight and height then.
He is such a happy baby and is sleeping a lot better. He goes to bed at 8pm and usually gets up around 6am (although he has gotten up earlier and a couple of times a little later than that). We had to get him nighttime diapers because his other ones just weren't cutting it at night. Those have helped a lot. We have only had one wet bed since he started wearing those. He still isn't the best napper but hopefully we will get into more of a routine soon.
He is rolling all over the place and is sitting up pretty well (he will still topple when he's not concentrating on what he's doing). He is doing some scooting but not crawling. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that... Jeff says he's ready and thinks it will be great when he starts crawling & walking. I love this age and just don't want him to grow up too fast!
Here are a few of my favorites from Tyler's 6 month pictures... He didn't get a very good nap that day...he actually fell asleep in his stroller while we were waiting for the photographer to finish up with the previous person. I ended up walking around while he napped for about 20 minutes. Needless to say, he wasn't in the best mood but we got a few good ones.
