Jeff was in Orlando for the week for work so I decided to fly home to celebrate Dad's 60th birthday (a little early) and also surprise Kristin. She hadn't met Tyler and didn't know we were coming. Tyler and I left Detroit Monday afternoon and flew to Phoenix on a 4 hour flight. We had a very short layover (30 minutes) before flying to Ontario, CA. Tyler was great on both flights. He only fussed for a few minutes. He was very happy and was smiling at everyone around us. As we were getting off the plane, a lady in front of me turned around and was surprised to see a baby. She said he was so quiet she didn't even realize he was there. I have to admit it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
When we got to the house, Mackenzie started yelling "MeMe" (which is what she calls me). Tim told her we were coming and she was so excited. Kristin still didn't know we were homeso I heard her tell Kenzie that is wasn't MeMe, it was Nana coming home. Kristin looked completely shocked when she saw us. We had such a great time. Mackenzie was so happy to see Tyler- she would not leave him alone and he got lots of kisses. :) She kept saying "luv you" and "happy". She definitely seemed very happy! She is such a cutie! We were sad to leave but are excited to go back (all 3 of us) in October.
