We celebrated Tyler's first birthday at our new house in Naperville with Nana and Papa. They were helping us with the move and stayed for Tyler's birthday. He was a little cranky by the time we got to the cupcake and wanted no part of it! He did have fun opening his presents though. We can't believe a year has already gone by! We are having so much fun with him!
He is all over the place (trying to run) and into everything (which didn't make moving any easier :)). He loves being outside and would spend the entire day out there if we would let him. He still loves to eat and definitely likes sweets. His sleeping is very inconsistent- one night he sleeps through the night, the next night he is up once (even twice sometimes). The doctor thought his molars might be coming in but no sign of them yet. Gotta love teething! He loves the Fresh Beat Band and will just sit and watch- and he never just sits! He also loves to read books, mostly by himself- he's driving me crazy by not letting me sit and just read to him. He just wants to turn the pages, etc... At least he is interested in them. He is very into putting things together (ie- putting lids on things, puzzles, etc..). And he loves our basement- we're not sure why since there aren't a whole lot of toys down there but he gets so excited to go down there. It's pretty funny. We are still waiting for him to really start talking... he is still doing a lot of babbling. He says things like dada, uh-oh, papa, baba... and a lot of gibberish! Can't wait to see what he does in the next year!!
Tyler loves the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! It's definitely one of his favorite shows.
